Hippocampus - a sea horse or king of fish in Greek mythology. In ancient Greece and Rome, sea deities were frequently depicted on chariots drawn by hippocamps.
The hippocampus, in particular, was harnessed to the chariot of Poseidon, the Greek god of the seas.
